Life & Legacy at Temple Chai: Securing Our Future Together
Life & Legacy is a collaboration between the Center for Jewish Philanthropy and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation. Its goal is to promote after-lifetime giving and create endowments that will support organizations like Temple Chai and ensure our Greater Phoenix will continue to be a vibrant Jewish community for future generations. Temple Chai, along with 20 other local Jewish organizations, is working together to assure Jewish Tomorrows.

How it works:
- Complete a Declaration of Commitment by clicking on the link below—Please consider adding Temple Chai to your estate plans by completing a Declaration of Commitment. If you would like help completing the form, please get in touch with Wendy Cohen.
- For a detailed explanation of legacy gift types, click on the Giving Options page below. You can make a legacy gift from your will/trust, IRA, life insurance or a cash gift. You can also make a lifetime gift of cash at any time.
- Once you decide how to fund your AFTER LIFETIME legacy gift to Temple Chai and by which vehicle, please update your estate documents. Then complete the Confirmation Form below and attach a copy of the pertinent page. Don’t forget to keep a copy for yourself with your other important papers and share this information with you family. This way, when your after-lifetime gift is realized (you are no longer with us), the detailed paperwork ensures that the money is placed in the Temple Chai Life & Legacy Endowment Fund, which is housed at the Jewish Community Foundation at the Center for Jewish Philanthropy.
