Erin Purvin
is our Club 78 (7th & 8th grades) and TCTY (high school youth
group) advisor, was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. She
recieved her Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the
University of North Texas. She then continued on with her
Masters in Social Work at Texas State University.
Erin has had a connection to Phoenix since
high school though NFTY-Southwest (the high school youth group
region) and has participated with the Camp Swift Foundation for
over ten years. Erin moved to the Valley in 2008 and is
currently a school social worker at a Trevor G. Browne High
School, where she helps prevent students from dropping out of
school.
Erin is working with the youth at Temple Chai
to help continue their involvement socially, through
programming, and takun olam. Erin also helps provide leadership
training through Temple Chai Junior High. Erin can be contacted
