Temple Chai Support Staff

Joan Brodsky has been with Temple Chai since 1996 and provides
administrative support for the rabbis in addition to coordinating many of the b’nai mitzvah activities such as scheduling b’nai mitzvah dates and classes, and creating students’ b’nai mitzvah books, just to name a few. Joan also coordinates the 3rd grade youth group (Katanty), the 4th-6th grade youth group (Chai Kids), and is the 3rd and 4th grade advisor. In addition to her already busy schedule, she is also the Judaica Shop coordinator. Joan has two kids and in her spare time, she enjoys tutoring Hebrew with her students, working out, and reading. |

As Temple Chai’s Controller, Wendy Twiggs directs all departmental accounting issues.
Wendy has been with Temple Chai since 1997, she has worked closely with the Executive Director and VP of Finance in maintaining the annual Temple Chai budget. Wendy and her husband, Trent have two grown daughters. In her spare time, Wendy enjoys reading, scrapbooking, and is very active working with the youth programs at her church. |

Sally Freed is in charge of Accounts Receivable and has been with Temple Chai
since 1990. Whether congregants have questions about their accounts, or employees have payroll concerns, Sally is there to assist. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and keeps very active. |

Debbie Wink
has been with Temple Chai since 1995. As the administrative assistant for the Religious School, her responsibilities include the handling of any and all information pertaining to the school. She provides support to the entire education staff, which includes more than 60 teachers. Debbie keeps busy by writing – she is a published author of a series of children’s books. She enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her two children and three grandchildren. |

For the last six years, Marci Beliak has been an administrative assistant for Sharona Silverman, Shalom Center director. Marci handles all information regarding illnesses, deaths, and simchas. In addition, she organizes and handles the arrangements and publicity for the Shalom Center programs and workshops. Marci and her husband, Bob, have three children. Marci enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family. |

Teri Cohen has been with Temple Chai
since 2003 in the front office of the Chai Childhood Center. Her job duties include licensing, handling paperwork, and most importantly, making sure the children, as well as their parents, are all happy. In her spare time she loves spending time with her
three children and enjoys scrapbooking and her new venture, Prickly Pear Papers, a stationery business. |
