Community and Outreach Programs at Temple Chai

Family Promise Program Temple Chai hosts homeless families for week-long sessions through the Family Promise program. Temple Chai is the first synagogue in Arizona to participate in this important program. We provide a hot meal, a place to sleep, fun, and friendship. Each session has been volunteer-run, and a pleasure for all involved. In total, we have now hosted 15 families, comprised of 64 people. Temple Chai Center for Tzedakah and Social Justice We are a group of kids, families, young adults and seniors who contribute to the work of tikkun olam, repairing the world, through G'milut Chasadim, acts of loving kindness.
