Caring for Our Loved Ones
A free drop-in group facilitated by geriatric psychologist, Gary Goodman, Ph.D. and Rabbi Marty Scharf

Caring for Our Loved Ones is a Jewish support and resource group for families and caregivers. Participants come together to provide mutual support and explore issues regarding the care of our loved ones, drawing from the Jewish tradition and from psychosocial research on aging.

Meetings are the 2nd and 4th Monday evening of each month from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in the House. There is no charge for this program, but donations are appreciated. Informational resources are also available on community services for caregivers. Contact the Shalom Center for meeting dates.

Living Through Loss
A Jewish bereavement support group facilitated by Harriet Frost, M.S., LMFT, Psychotherapist and Certified Bereavement Counselor

Participants come together to give mutual support and to provide strength and solace for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. This drop-in group meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 4:30 to 6:00 pm in the House. There is no charge for this program, but donations are appreciated.
